1. Service Agreement

By subscribing to ISP Point services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our internet services are provided subject to availability in your area and technical feasibility. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ISP Point.

2. Service Plans & Billing

All service plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice. Late payment may result in service suspension after 7 days of due date.

  • Monthly billing cycle starts from activation date
  • Payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, Mobile Banking
  • Late payment fee: 5% of monthly bill after 7 days
  • Service restoration fee: ৳500 for suspended accounts

3. Installation & Equipment

Free installation is provided for standard setups within 2km of our network points. Customer is responsible for equipment care and will be charged for damaged or lost equipment at replacement cost.

  • Router/Modem: ৳2,500 replacement cost
  • Cables and accessories: Actual cost
  • Installation beyond 2km: ৳100 per additional 100m
  • Equipment remains property of ISP Point

4. Service Usage Policy

Services must be used in compliance with Bangladesh telecommunications laws. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal downloading or sharing of copyrighted content
  • Sending spam or malicious content
  • Network abuse or excessive bandwidth consumption
  • Running commercial servers without business plan
  • Any activity that violates local or international laws

Violation may result in immediate service termination without refund.

5. Service Level Agreement

We guarantee 99.9% uptime excluding scheduled maintenance. Speed may vary based on network conditions, distance from exchange, and usage patterns.

  • Scheduled maintenance: Maximum 4 hours per month
  • Speed guarantee: Up to advertised speed during normal conditions
  • Support response: Within 2 hours for technical issues
  • Service credits available for extended outages

6. Fair Usage Policy

While we offer unlimited data, we maintain a fair usage policy to ensure optimal service for all customers:

  • Residential plans: Unlimited usage with speed throttling after 500GB/month
  • Business plans: No throttling, dedicated bandwidth
  • P2P traffic may be limited during peak hours (7PM-11PM)
  • Streaming and gaming traffic prioritized

7. Termination & Cancellation

Either party may terminate service with 30 days written notice. Early termination conditions:

  • No contract customers: No penalty, 30 days notice required
  • Annual contract customers: 50% of remaining months if terminated early
  • Equipment must be returned within 7 days of termination
  • Final bill settlement required before disconnection

8. Limitation of Liability

ISP Point's liability is limited to the monthly service fee. We are not responsible for:

  • Indirect damages or business interruption
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Third-party service failures
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, power outages)
  • Customer equipment damage

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy and protect your personal information according to our Privacy Policy. We may collect usage data for network optimization and billing purposes.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through:

  • Direct negotiation with customer service
  • Mediation if required
  • Arbitration under Bangladesh Arbitration Act
  • Jurisdiction: Courts of Rangpur, Bangladesh
